Description
English: A contemporary plated forgery (silvered copper-alloy core) of a denarius of Septimius Severus, copying a coin of AD 199 (Reece period 10). VICTORIA AVG reverse depicting Victory advancing right, holding wreath and palm. Original coin minted in Rome. RIC IV (I), p. 108, as footnote for no. 143(a).

Dimensions: 18.3mm diameter, 2.4mm thick. Weight: 2.24g.
