Description
English: A copper-alloy core from a silvered denarius of Septimius Severus; contemporary copy, dating to the period AD 200-201 (Reece period 10). VICT AETERN reverse depicting Victory flying left, holding in both hands a shield set on low base. Copying RIC IV (part I), p. 113, no. 170 (Rome).

Diameter: 17.7mm; thickness: 2mm. Weight: 2.55g.
