Roman coin: denarius of Plautilla
Description
English: A silver denarius of the empress Plautilla dating to the period AD 202-205 (Reece period 10). The obverse depicts a draped bust facing right and is inscribed [PLAVTILLAE AVGVSTAE]. The reverse depicts Caracalla standing right clasping hand of Plautilla standing left and is inscribed PROPAGO IMPERI. Mint of Rome. RIC vol IV pt 1 p 269 no 362.
