Roman coin: denarius of Caracalla
Description
English: A plated(?) silver denarius of Caracalla, possibly muled with a reverse type from a coin of Plautilla, c.201-212 AD. Reverse: CONCORDIA AVGG, Concordia standing left holding patera and vertical sceptre. Reverse as RIC 4.1 no. 359. The coin appears to have a copper or coppery core with silver surfaces.
