Description
English: A silver Roman denarius of Geta (AD 209-212), dating to the period c. AD 209-211 (Reece period 10). PONTIF COS II reverse type depicting Genius standing left sacrificing out of patera over an altar, holding corn ears. Mint of Rome. This coin combines a late obverse of AD 211 (cf. BMC 8) with reverse type of AD 209 (cf. BMC 579)
