English: A very worn, corroded and slightly depleted 2nd-century copper-alloy Roman dupondius of Marcus Aurelius, 'PRIMI DECENNALES COS III - S C', Rome mint (c. 170 - c. 171 AD; Reece issue period 8; cf. R.I.C. 1004/1008). Much of the surface patina has been lost on both faces towards the circumference. |
