English: Sliver plated copper alloy denarius of Septimius Severus, [PMTRP III/IV] COS II P P, (Minerva standing facing left holding a shield and spear, reverse). Rome, 195-7 AD. RIC IV part 1, p 99 and 101, nos. 68 and 83. The coin is pierced at 8 o'clock.
