Roman coin: Claudius I as
Description
English: A very worn copper alloy coin of Roman date, probably Claudius I (AD 41 - 54), Reece period 2 and probably an As. It has a carefully drilled hole, c2.50mm in diameter, close to one edge. Reverse appears to be Minerva advancing right.

The coin is heavily abraded and has a bright green patina. It is c 26.21mm in diameter (though is not quite circular) and weighs 5.25g.
