English: Copper alloy

Probable Cosmetic Implement. A flat narrow implement with expanded ends, the larger bearing a drilled hole of diameter 1.3mm, possibly a pair of tweezers equipped with a hole for attachment to a grooming suite. The object is bifurcated at its broader end, where the metal leaves are circa 0.5mm and 0.4mm thick. The turquoise patina of this object is striking. Suggested date: Roman, 40-400.

Length: 32.5mm, Width: 3.7mm, Thickness: 1.4mm, Weight: 0.68gms.
