Roman Finger Ring fragment
Description
English: Copper alloy and dark blue glass. Cast ring with sub-circular sunken bezel of diameter 10mm retaining a setting of (now) shattered dark blue glass. The sides of the setting are slightly bevelled to either side, so that its top is c.1mm wider than its base. The band narrows below the shoulders, and all that part of it opposite the bezel is lost. Suggested date: Roman, AD 43-300.

Length: 15.5mm, Width: 10.2mm, Height (bezel): 5.6mm, Thickness (angled at top of shoulder): 5.5mm, Weight: 3.41gms.
