Roman Dolphin Bow brooch
Description
English: This Roman fibula in copper alloy is of the dolphin variety of the 1st century AD. The brooch and wings are finely crafted with a pierced catch plate which takes the form of three round holes. There is a small knob to the foot of the brooch. The brooch has a good 'bronze' patination, the pin is missing.
