An incomplete Roman copper-alloy sestertius of Septimius Severus (AD 193-211), dating to the period c. AD 194 (Reece period 10). DIS AVSPICIB TR P II] COS II P P reverse type depicting Hercules, naked, standing left, holding club in right hand and lion skin over left arm, and Bacchus, naked, standing left, holding cup in right hand and thyrsus in left hand; at feet of Bacchus a panther. Mint of Rome.

Reverse: [DIS AVSPICIB TR P II] COS [II P P, S C]; Hercules, naked, standing left, holding club in right hand and lion skin over left arm, and Bacchus, naked, standing left, holding cup in right hand and thyrsus in left hand; at feet of Bacchus a panther.
