Description
English: An incomplete Roman copper-alloy sestertius of Septimius Severus (AD 193-211), dating to the period c. AD 196 (Reece period 10). FORTVNAE REDVCI, S C reverse type depicting Fortuna seated left holding rudder on globe and cornucopiae. Mint of Rome.

Obverse: L SEPT SEV PE-[...], Laureate and cuirassed bust right seen from behind.

Reverse: [F]OR[TVN]A[E REDVCI, S C]; Fortuna seated left holding rudder on globe and cornucopiae.

Diameter: 30.6mm. Weight: 14.31g. DA=12:12.
