Roman Coin: 4th century nummus
Description
English: A worn and corroded copper-alloy Roman nummus of Magnentius (AD 350-3), dating to the period AD351-3 (Reece period 18). VICTORIAE DD NN AVG ET CAES reverse type depicting Two Victories holding a wreath inscribed VOT/V/MVLT/X (probably). Mint uncertain. Ref: cf. Moorhead 2013: 186-7 fig 19 for general type.
