Roman Candy Wagon on St Charles Avenue, Uptown New Orleans, 9 February 2021

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Well into America's automobile era, this horsedrawn Roman Candy wagon remained a beloved symbol of easygoing New Orleans, Louisiana. Behind the reins is Daniel Kottemann, whose grandfather, Sam Cortese, built the wagon in 1915 and began selling "roman candy"— flavored taffy wrapped in wax paper.
