Description
English: It was built between 19-11 BC from donations of Julius Caesar and Augustus. The Emperor Hadrian paved courtyard. After the raid of Heruli (AD 267) and the restriction of Athens in the roman wall, the administrative and commercial center of the city was transferred from the Ancient Agora to the Roman Agora and Hadrian's Library.
