English: Harpokrates, or "Horus the Child," the son of Isis and Osiris, is represented as a young boy with a child's sidelock of hair, sucking his finger. He holds a cornucopia (horn of plenty), wears the crowns of Upper and Lower Egypt with a crescent at the front, and is accompanied by a variety of fertility attributes. |
