Title
Roman : Ear ring
Description
English: CORONER'S REPORT

Description of Object

A small, hollow, sub-rectangular sheet-gold object with two undecorated planar faces. A ribbed moulding - four ribs defined by three channels - runs around one long and two short sides and a slender tubular perforation, formed by the addition of a strip of gold sheet, occupies the fourth side.

The object, which resembles a bulla type pendant, is identifiable as a component of Roman jewellery, probably a bead-like pendant from a composite ear-ring or necklace.
