Title
Roman (possibly) filigree object
Description
English: Two wide, rectangular-sectioned ovoid loops, interlinked and affixed at one end by a truncated bar. Each loop is decorated with applied twisted gold wires forming a running lozenge pattern with loops at the boarders, interspersed with tiny globular gold beads.

Of unknown function - perhaps part of an earring or decoration for a hair pin. Stylistically, however, it is consistent with late 19th century jewellery of archaising design.
