Summary
[edit]DescriptionRoger Winter One I At A time 1971.jpg |
English: Collage by Roger Winter, One I At A Time, (collage, 20” x 40”, 1971. Collection of the Dallas Museum of Art). The image illustrates the Surrealist, narrative mode Roger Winter began exploring in the 1960s, a style characterized by complex juxtapositions and the sense that the works contain deeper meaning. One I At A Time is a black-and-white collage of figures and objects in a landscape setting. This piece and similar works have been exhibited in prominent galleries and museums in the United States, discussed in a monograph and numerous press publications, and many have been acquired by major museums and prominent corporate and private collections. |
