With the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, the 36th edition of the RAA Annual Convention officially opened. The ceremony was co-sponsored by SJI and Powerjet which are both attending the show in line with a common strategy in supporting the SSJ100 program in the US. The Ceremony was anticipated by a speech of Hon. Ray LaHood , US DOT Secretary. With Hon. LaHood and Roger Cohen, President of RAA, the ribbon was cut by Svetlana Issaeva, SJI Deputy SVP Commercial and Mr. Jacques Desclaux CEO and Chairman of Powerjet. Also, SuperJet International was honoured to receive the visit of Hon. LaHood at its booth, during his tour of the Convention. SuperJet International was also involved in its press conference in the morning. Mrs. Issaeva addressed the audience with an interesting presentation focused on a general update of the program and recent achievements of the SSJ100 with particular reference to Armavia first delivery and Aeroflot EIS. The several journalists showed great interest in the presentation, testified by the number of questions and positive interaction with our firm representatives. |
