Beines mit je 3 Bacilli am Vor- derrande entlang. verwechselt werden, wenn man nicht auf die kurzen, gekrümmten, gebräunten Spitzen der Dornen und die lange, schlanke, fein ausgezogene Spitze der Dorn- borsten achtet. Von geringerer Dicke als die Dornborsten sind die eigentlichen Borsten. die in mehr oder weniger dichter Anordnung sowohl auf den Gliedmaßen als auch auf den Körper (Propeltidium) verstreut stehen können. Hervorzuheben sind hier die beiden frontalen, auf je einem kleinen Sockel stehenden Borsten des Augenhügels, die auch dann vorhanden sind, wenn dem Augenhügel andere, feinere Haare fehlen. Besondere morphologische Bedeutung schreibt Hewitt (1919) den sog. „Tergalborsten"' zu, die in je einer hervortretenden Querreihe auf den Tergiten des Prosoma und (wenigstens des vorderen)
