And when you hook a great big troutIt kinder makes you thrillTo feel him pulling mighty hard,Thats when he tries your skill ! Them city-folks all call me RubeCos I act simple-likeThey say I dont know anything.Cant even ride a bike. But when it comes to fishin1 tell you what, theyre madWhen I come back with lots of fishAn they cant ketch a shad. The one most admired was a magnifi-cent waterfall surpassing in grandeurany of the great scenes for which thiscountry is noted. Beyond this they sawnumbers of glaciers and through all thiswild country could be found many kindsof big game. Their enthusiastic reports roused in mean ambition to go and sea these beautiesof nature for myself. The fates seemed against me howevertill last summer, when after due prepara-tion, one lovely July morning four of usstarted out on horseback, fully equippedfor any adventure and with plenty ofplates for our cameras, to be sure ofbringing back a photo of the falls. Leaving New Denver about eightoclock we took the trail along the shore,to Rosebe
