SURVEYOR-GENERAL GRIMMER, OF NEW BRUNSWICK, CANOEING ON THE TOBIQUE. Provincial Ministers in New Brunswick Woods. An Exciting Adventure. With the advent to power of a newgovernment the New Brunswick guidesthought thev saw their chance of makingsome impression on the powers that be.Accordingly they invited the Premier, theHon. J. D. Hazen, and the SurveyorGeneral, the Hon. W.C. H. Grimmer, tospend ten days in the woods with themand obtain for themselves some first handinformation of the real condition ofthings, in order that they might betterjudge what steps, if any, are needed tofurther safe guard the big game of theProvince. The invitations were acceptedin the same hearty spirit as they wereproferred and arrangements were madefor taking the party to the Tobique,Nepisiquit and Miramichi. Included inthe party in addition to the Premier andSurveyor - General were Miss KatieHazen, Miss Lois Grimmer, Mr. D. K.Hazen, and Mr. Arthur P. Hazen, localmanager of the Bank of British NorthAmerica
