which fills every moment ofexperience on the part of visitors. Healthand enjoyment go hand in hand in such afavoured place. It is not merely a re-lease from strain, but also a completechange amid ideal surroundings. In thePark there is not only a chance of brainrest, but in addition a complete change ofoccupation which encourages new trainsof thought and give that variety of occu-pation which constitutes the very bestrest a busy and fagged out man canselect. Guns are prohibited but the sportsmanis more than rewarded for any pangs hemay feel in temporarily parting with hisbeloved guns by the sight of deer amidtheir natural surroundings and the closeacquaintance he may, with very ordinaryprecautions, make with these fine gameanimals. To wander far amid such sur-roundings is a privilege valued by all whoare able to enjoy it. For the fine photographs from whichthe majority of the illustrations have beenmade we are indebted to the courtesy ofMr. R. R. Sallows, photographer, Goder-ich. Ont.

Lonesome, you say; to some it may Be a bit that way, but IGet a sort of cheer, from the high notes clear. Of its weird and sad-like cry. There the Dipper shines oer the lordly pines. And a thousand planets blink; You can see the Hand that formed the land. By Jingo! It makes one think. At the suns first ray, I goes my way, In my Silver Birch canoe,By torrent strong and portage long, Crossin a country new. I paddle on from early dawn With my light prospectors kit,Findin good health and sometimes wealth By
