| Description |
English: The Rocky Mount Bus Station just south of the historic Helen P. Gay Rocky Mount (Amtrak station) in Rocky Mount, North Carolina as taken from the station platform. Originally this was an REA Express freight house serving the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad, but I was concerned nobody was going to believe this was an old REA Express station, so I took this shot the next day showing features that were typical of such structures. This depot serves Greyhound Buses, Trailways Buses, and Rocky Mount's own Tar River Transit. |
