Summary
[edit]DescriptionRockyRingRoadRally3.jpg |
English: One Nation senator Malcolm Roberts speaking at a media conference held at a "Start Rockhampton Ring Road" Rally at JRT Group in Parkhurst, in the regional Australian city of Rockhampton, Queensland on 4 November 2022.
The independent rally was held in response to the Federal Government's unexpected announcement that the much-anticipated construction of the ring road would be delayed due to it being over-budget. With the decision made just prior to construction commencing, the rally was organised in an attempt to convince the Federal Government not to delay the project any further. The rally was attended by a large group of locals, industry leaders, local business owners and political figures. |
