English: Rock gabions protecting dunes Large stones in wire cages have been placed to protect the dunes at Old Hunstanton, from the sea and also from humans as they must reduce the amount of people walking through the dunes from the beach and thus reduce the amount of damage to the vegetation they would cause. |
