| Description |
English: Ex-L&Y 0-6-0 at Rochdale station. View northward, towards (to the right) Todmorden, Sowerby Bridge, Wakefield etc. on the Calder Valley main line, also the branch to Bacup; Manchester Victoria and Bolton to the left. No. 52343 (apparently newly repaired) is one of the numerous Aspinall Class 27 3F 0-6-0s still at work in the early 1950s, being built in the 1890s but survived until 9/56. |
