English: Rochdale station 1980 Marooned at the southern end of the station, the three buildings provided a passenger buffet and railway staff offices and stores. Built in a style common to all former Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway major stations, they and the platforms were originally covered by an extensive canopy, sufficient to deflect the worst of Lancashire's weather. |
