Italiano: Rocchetta Mattei. Dal vestibolo della Sala dei Novanta, si sale la scala e, oltrepassata la copia ridotta del Portale monumentale di Palazzo d’Accursio a Bologna, si accede all’iconica Cappella. Lo spazio unisce elementi arabo islamici, come gli archi ispirati a quelli della Mezquita di Cordova, con altri della tradizione architettonica medievale italiana, come il matroneo e l’abside semicircolare. La sua struttura e le decorazioni sono realizzate con materiali locali tra i quali gesso, cemento, mattoni e legno. Nelle lunette si riconoscono alcuni apostoli dipinti al principio del Novecento con una tecnica che simulava il mosaico. Anche le decorazioni del soffitto non sono lignee, ma tele dipinte che riproducono intarsi con fioroni dorati, questi ultimi invece in legno.
