Phänomen-Robur-Werke

  • im Jahre 1888 als Phänomen gegründert
  • 1889 begann die Fahrradherstelung
  • 1900 startete die Fertigung von Phänomen-Motorrädern
  • seit 1903 wurden Einzylinder-Viertakt-Ottomotoren eigener Entwicklung verbaut
  • die Serienfertigung des periswerten Dreiradfahrzeuges Phänomobil begann 1905
  • ab 1910 kamm ein von zwei Ventilatoren gekühlter Vierzylinder-Viertakt Ottomotor zum Einsatz (die Produktion lief bis 1927)
  • 1917 Umwaldlung in einen Aktiengesellschaft
  • zwischen 1912 und 1927 wurden auch vierrädrige PKW angeboten
  • 1927 wurde der preiswerte und leistungsfähige LWK 4 RL herausgebracht
  • als die Nachfrage nach höherer Nutzlast stieg, wurden 1931 der Granit 25 (Nutzlast 1,5 t) und 1936 der Granit 30 (Nutzlast 2,5 t), auf den Markt gebracht
  • 1930 nahmen die Phänomen-Werke die Produktion von Leichtmotorrädern mit Sachs-Einbaumotoren auf
  • bis 1945 gab es immerhin 14 verschiedene Leichtmotorräder
  • von Mai bis Juli wurden die Maschinen und Einrichtungen als Reparation an die Sowjetunion demontiert
  • im Juni 1946 wurden die Zittauer Phänomen-Werke enteignet und gingen in Volkseigentum über
  • neuer Firmenname war ab Juni 1946 Phänomen Werke Zittau, Industrieverwaltung 17, Fahrzeugbau Landeseigener Betrieb Sachsen
  • 1948 wurde der Betrieb in den IFA integriert
  • 1948 wurde mit dem Bau von stationären Motoren begonnen
