Description
English: Type material of the ellesmerocerid cephalopod Robsonoceras robsonense (Walcott, 1924), orig. comb. Ellesmeroceras robsonensis, from the Lower Ordovician Chushina Formation of southeastern British Columbia, Canada. All specimens are preserved as internal molds. 1a) and b) two different views of specimen United States National Museum (USNM) 69803 (lectoparatype), a partial phragmocone and living chamber. 2b) specimen USNM 69804 (lectoparatype), a partial phragmocone and living chamber, 2a) is the corresponding cross section. 3) ventral view of specimen USNM 69805 (lectoparatype), a partial phragmocone with well visible siphuncle and living chamber. 4b) ventral view of specimen USNM 69806 (lectoholotype), a partial phragmocone with well visible siphuncle, 4a) is the corresponding cross section.
