Summary
[edit]DescriptionRobespierre - physionotrace.jpg |
English: Physionotrace of Maximilien Robespierre, unsigned drawing formerly attributed to Antoine-Paul Vincent. Pencil with white pastel highlights on pink paper, 44 x 39 cm. The visual relationship with the 1792 engraving by Gilles-Louis Chrétien after Jean-Baptiste Fouquet raises the possibility it may be Fouquet's original drawing; the media, dimensions and style also suggest this [1]. |
