Description

The original design was by the English architect and musician of the cathedral was Edmund Sedding and construction took place from 1915-1919. A chancel was added to the design of Edward John "Ted" McCoy in 1971.

Edmund Sedding's younger brother, John Dando Sedding, designed a number of churches in England including St Clement's, Boscombe and Holy Trinity, Sloane Square.
