Accepts invitation to meet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow on July 9; mourning stationery; with photograph of Browning on verso. Photograph print created by London Stereoscopic and Photographic Company [often referred to as London Stereoscopic Company].

[Albert Bierstadt's July 9, 1868 dinner at the Langham Hotel, London was held to honor Longfellow on his Grand Tour of Europe and to gift him Bierstadt's painting "The Departure of Hiawatha."]
