| Description |
English: Road to the summit The B974, just below the summit at Cairn o' Mount. This route is highly susceptible to being blocked by snow and the metal poles indicate the course of the road for snowploughs to follow. A metalled road was established by General George Wade in the aftermath of the Jacobite revolts of the early eighteenth Century, although much earlier warriors inclding Macbeth and Agricola are reputed to have passed this way. |
