English: Road causeway between Upper and Lower Glynrhonwy Quarries In this photo of the Clegyr road the upper pit of the Lower Glynrhonwy Quarry is to the right and the lower pit of Glynrhonwy Upper is to the left. Beyond the fence, on either side, there is a sheer drop of a couple of hundred feet. In one or two places the edge is giving way at the fence. |
