[edit]DescriptionRoad bridge to Sanday completed 2006 - geograph.org.uk - 303925.jpg |
English: Road bridge to Sanday completed 2006 The Isle of Sanday is linked to the Isle of Canna by a road bridge completed in 2006. Hitherto there was a footbridge at the same site that was destroyed by gales in 2005. At low tide vehicles can access Sanday directly across the sand. This view was taken near high tide from the cottage Lag nam Boitean on Canna that can be rented as a holiday cottage from the National Trust for Scotland. |
