Summary
[edit]DescriptionRoad Crossing at Sigglesthorne Station (geograph 6121856).jpg |
English: Road Crossing at Sigglesthorne Station I'm not a railway expert, but there can't be many places where a platform is separated from the rest of the station by a road going through the middle. This is the corner of TA1742. The station house is in TA1842 and the track continues over the road in TA1843. The station opened as Hatfield but presumably to avoid confusion with the better known place in Hertfordshire the name was changed to Sigglesthorne, which is surely unique. |
