Summary
[edit]DescriptionRiverside path at Sandyhill - geograph.org.uk - 1716169.jpg |
English: Riverside path at Sandyhill A long way from the Dales by now, and well within the Lake District National Park, this is, nonetheless, the Dales Way long distance footpath. The path has followed the south (river right) side of the River Kent from Bowston, and the walkers seen here are just being deflected away from the track to Sandyhill farm, which continues to follow the river, but is no longer a right of way. Once through the gate and into the same field as the photographer, there is little chance of missing the path (apart from when snow covered, perhaps) which is very well-worn, and leads to the former A591 just north of Staveley level crossing. |
