English: This is river mahawali. It is longest river of Sri Lanka. It Start from the Adam's peak and end with Thrincomali. It distribute its water supply to largest area of Sri Lanka including Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura and Kandy. Mahawali zone is related to this longest river. But high environment pollution affect on this river also. We must protect this river and its area. Becuase without this, there is no more Sri Lanka. |
