Summary

[edit]
Description
English: River Yare, upstream side, Harford Bridge Until the 1960s, Harford Bridge, the boundary between the City of Norwich and the County of Norfolk, over the River Yare, was a fairly narrow brick/stone arch bridge, with a shallow shoal underneath, so that local children could paddle and catch fish in nets. The bridge is now much wider, the river has been dredged, and the traffic heavy, so it is a less interesting place now.
