| Description |
English: River Tame and elevated motorway, near Gravelly Hill The River Tame flows from the left, from beneath the canal aqueduct; the picture was taken from a narrowboat on the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal crossing the aqueduct. I was astonished how little water was in the river, considering the amount of rain which had fallen during the previous few days. To the right is a bit of a backwater of the river which extends about 250 metres. The M6 motorway dominates the landscape, having just come through "Spaghetti Junction" a short distance to the west. |
