Summary

[edit]
Description
English: River Stour, Canterbury Taken from King's Bridge, the point where High Street crosses this narrow channel of the River Stour. The channel was originally cut by the Romans as a flood relief measure. The building on the left is the Weaver's House built by Huguenot weavers; it is now a restaurant. Ahead, and accessed through the Weaver's House, is the embarkation point for river trips.
