English: River Leven joins the River Clyde The River Leven meanders the short distance from Loch Lomond and enters the Clyde here at Dumbarton Rock.
Taken from a Glasgow-bound Boeing 747, this photo shows Dumbarton Rock, the Dumbarton bridges and Levengrove park. The westernmost junction of the M8 Motorway at Westfery can be seen to the top right. The tide is low and the "Lang Dyke" and the navigable channel in the Clyde are clearly visible.
