| Description |
English: River Leven The River Leven is very much pool-drop, and this is one of a succession of small drops in the bed, forming a playwave, seen here in low water. Although this is the scene of wildwater races, in which the object is simply to get down the river as quickly as possible, most recreational kayakers prefer to stop and play on the waves, as a Swaledale Outdoor Club group is doing in this photo. |
