Summary
[edit]DescriptionRiver Fal moorings, off Tolcarne Creek - geograph.org.uk - 1569482.jpg |
English: River Fal moorings, off Tolcarne Creek. The former tug "Golden Cross" was built in 1955 for the Tees Towing Co. by the Clyde shipbuilders, Scotts of Bowling.
The vessel has had several owners and was sold for scrap before being restored and re-registered as a yacht. Despite her Naval lines she has always worked in the Merchant Service where she may have had a close association with one of Her Majesty's most treasured ships. http://www.clydesite.co.uk/articles/golden_cross.asp |
