English: River Bladnoch near Killiemore Arising in Loch Maberry high on the moors near the Ayrshire border, the Bladnoch runs through thick blanket forestry for the first third of its course. In its lower reaches between Kirkcowan and Wigtown, it is flowing more slowly and gently as it wanders through rolling farmland and sheep pasture on its way to the sea near Bladnoch village. |
