English: River Aire in Spate from Buck Lane Footbridge. Heavy rain had fallen during the last few days causing the river level to rise dramatically. The Mallards in the centre of the picture, to the right of the island tree, had just joined the main river from an overflow channel. Interesting to compare this photograph with 852219 taken in June. |
